A True Sea Story……

A pirate ship is looking for plunder on the ocean, when down come a call from the watch in the crow’s nest; Captain there an enemy ship on the horizon sir. The captain says to the boson standing next to him, “go fetch my red shirt, this way if I should be wounded in battle the men won’t see me bleeding and they will fight on”. Then yet another call down from the crow’s nest; Captain sir, there are now 25 enemy ships on the horizon. The captain then tells the boson, “and bring my brown pants too”.
