Sitting out the rain
After taking it easy here at Clifton Marina yesterday we were ready to head down river till we looked at the weather forecast. We had been planning to anchor out tonight about 10 miles from the Pickwick dam but the forecast called for severe thunderstorms. We decided to stay here another day in our nice covered slip and wait for sunnier skies. The Captain made a good call. It rained like crazy most of the morning. So, we did some laudry, cleaned the boat a little and I cut Frank's hair for the first time ever. It really doesn't look too bad!
Look forward to being back on the river tomorrow.
