Pictures
of Columbus Marina
The Columbus Marina is a
nice place clean and a friendly staff. These are a few pictures I took today on
my daily walk about.

This is what the weeks look like,
take a close look there are two kinds.
They tell me to just drive through the weeds,
just go slow and it will be OK. Then
I see prop killers like this one, it's log about 8'
long and 7" diameter. This is not always a friendly place.
These are the Lilly Pads they are all along the
shore line and extend into the lake about 50 yards.
As you can see these are huge about 30" on the average
Again more Lilly Pads and a island of floating weeds
in the background. Notice the red nun at the edge of the Lillie's
the nun marks one side of the channel.
This is a close up of the weeds. That little bulb is
an air sack which help it float. The hairy looking
things are the roots. The best I can tell is the roots
collect silt because when you disturb one
there is a brown cloud in the water. They
also have a purple flower.
Lopper's lined up on the transit dock
Some boats are loved, 1971 Trumpy
Value about $450K
......then others have been forgotten and given to the spiders
........ others are just waiting for my Lotto to hit
See Ya on the water
